Oh OK then

Happy New Year to all my reader.

There are signs nature is waking up which is nice but also a little concerning, I saw my first snowdrops at the beginning of December, usually not seen until January. Crocuses (crocii?) have been in flower for a few weeks and bluebell shoots are poking through autumn's leaves.

The birds are singing too, robins have been for quite a while but are getting more vocal and it is nice to hear the great tits evocative simple 'teacher' song again. Song thrushes, wrens, dunnocks are all at it and the days are beginning to get longer. However, the down side is it is very muddy out there and I seem to spend a lot of my time cleaning my dog!
