A perfect day

I met a friend for a coastal walk from Emsworth to Langstone. The weather was perfect and the company excellent. It was just past high tide which allowed us to walk the coastline. The tide went out as we walked exposing the mudflats so the scenery on the way back had changed.

No, not the blonde bombshell (weird term) from the 1950s and 60s. No a weather bomb, a storm called Doris which swept the country and disrupted the already totally unreliable Southern Railway disservice.

Today was the day I had to travel to London 😣.

Trumpton

For all those not in the UK or older than a certain age and without kids Trumpton is, and I quote from Wikipedia:

Trumpton is a stop-motion children's television series from the producers of Camberwick Green. First shown on the BBC from January to March 1967, it was the second series in the Trumptonshire trilogy, which comprised Camberwick Green, Trumpton and Chigley.
