I met a friend for a coastal walk from Emsworth to Langstone. The weather was perfect and the company excellent. It was just past high tide which allowed us to walk the coastline. The tide went out as we walked exposing the mudflats so the scenery on the way back had changed.
Then at Langstone for a rest, a sandwich and a drink in The Royal Oak
As you can see there was plenty to choose from
But I chose the Speckled Hen
Suitably refreshed we headed back the way we came and finally the train home.
